Software Engineer

The opportunity We are thrilled to invite you to an exciting opportunity to join the Platform Support team, where your primary responsibility will be identifying, diagnosing, and fixing bugs that impact Unity across one or more supported platforms.

As a Software Engineer in the Platform area, you will investigate bug reports, analyze platform-specific issues, and implement solutions that uphold Unity’s high quality standards. Many bugs require deep dives into complex, platform-dependent code, so strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. You’ll work closely with experienced team members as you debug, modify, and test Unity’s source code to deliver robust fixes and ensure a seamless experience for our users.

What you ll be doing Investigating and fixing bugs for different Platform areas Test code changes on different platforms, from niche smartphones to the newest gaming consoles Working on projects related to Unity s supported Platforms What we re looking for Experience in building Unity projects for popular Platforms, such as Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS Willingness to analyze and modify C and C# code with support.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes Experience working with Git You might also have Knowledge of the Unity editor Passion for graphics Experience in building and running Unity projects on web platforms or gaming consoles Base Salary Range: We determine the base salary range for this role based on your primary work location: Zone A: €29,000 - €36,200 EUR gross per year This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate’s relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
