The opportunity Unity is at the forefront of mobile advertising technology, helping developers and advertisers build thriving ecosystems through Unity Ads, our performance advertising platform for mobile game growth.

As a Performance Manager on the EMEA Managed Accounts team, you will own the performance of a portfolio of strategic advertiser accounts, using data and automated tooling to find and act on opportunities before they’re asked for. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Client Partners and Product to turn insight into revenue.

Our vision for this role The best moment to talk to a client about performance is before they ve noticed anything is wrong.

That s the bar for this role. Proactiveness is the default here: you re catching the trend, the anomaly, or the untapped opportunity early enough that the conversation starts with a recommendation rather than an explanation.

Getting there is as much an engineering problem as an analytical one. Our reach is growing fast, so monitoring has to be automated, analysis has to be repeatable, and the work you do on one account needs to be reusable across many. In practice you ll be working in SQL, Looker, and increasingly in agentic and AI-assisted workflows, building the layer that surfaces what matters rather than just operating inside it.

What you’ll be doing Own the performance of a portfolio of strategic gaming advertisers, working closely with Client Partners to turn data into optimization recommendations they can actually take to the client.

Build growth strategies for your accounts. Where the scale is, what s holding it back, and the order of changes that unlock it. You ll pitch these alongside your Client Partner.

Diagnose performance drops quickly and get to remediation steps that move the account.

Turn recurring analysis into something repeatable: dashboards, alerts, scripted reports, so the same question isn t answered by hand every month.

Take on performance projects that go beyond a single account. A best practice rolled out across a segment, a diagnostic applied to a whole cohort, a process the rest of the team ends up using.

Work with Product on pilots of new optimization features, and bring what you re seeing in the field back into the roadmap.

What we’re looking for At least 2 years in performance marketing, user acquisition, ad tech or programmatic. Mobile gaming exposure is a plus.

Strong analytical instincts and real comfort working in data tools, whether that s Looker, Imply or something else you ve used day-to-day.

Hands-on experience automating recurring work: scripted analysis, scheduled reporting, alerting. Ideally you can point to something you built that stopped a manual task from repeating.

Comfortable working across teams, with Product, Client Partners and Engineering.

Clear written and spoken English, and the ability to make a complex data story land with a client as well as an internal audience.

Experience building AI processes and agentic workflows, not just prompting a chatbot. Something you ve set up that runs a piece of analysis end to end, and a view on where that works and where it still needs a person.

You might also have Experience in a client-facing role, presenting analysis or recommendations directly to advertisers.

SQL or Python for anything beyond ad hoc queries.

Experience with ROAS-target bidding, plus a working understanding of cohort maturity and mobile monetization (IAP, ad revenue, hybrid).

Familiarity with attribution platforms like AppsFlyer or Adjust.
