"description": " Do you feel personally responsible when players rage quit over a bad connection? Do you enjoy creating the “invisible” tech that prevents it? And are you also a little silly? We re building something unannounced, exciting, and thoroughly goofy, and we need a Senior Game Programmer (Network Multiplayer) to design and implement the multiplayer tech that makes it all work.

Here’s what you’ll do day to day Build and iterate on smooth, low-latency online play on top of an existing game tech infrastructure, in close collaboration with designers, artists, and other programmers Work hands-on in Unity using a multiplayer framework (i.e. Coherence) Own multiplayer/networking as a technical domain: make the key architectural calls, set standards, and help the team make good tradeoffs Share knowledge and raise the multiplayer bar across the studio over time Must-haves You’ve worked on at least one online multiplayer game (ideally shipped) You have a strong understanding of multiplayer networking concepts (e.g. peer-to-peer, client/host models, synchronisation, lag compensation), and you can explain them clearly to non-experts You understand the tradeoffs between peer-to-peer and server-authoritative approaches (bandwidth, latency, security, scalability), and can choose the right model for the problem You’re comfortable taking responsibility for long-term multiplayer architecture (not just implementing isolated features) You enjoy mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and helping others level up You’ll be working mainly in the Apple ecosystem, so you’re willing to work on macOS and get comfortable with Apple-related constraints/tech Nice-to-haves Experience in architecting and deploying server infrastructure Experience with relay server setups and/or server health monitoring What always matters to us at Triband We ve always believed games are made by teams, not solo superstars. We love people who bring curiosity, generosity, and strong opinions, especially when those opinions come with reasoning and openness. We care a lot about experimentation: sometimes the weird idea isn t the right fit. Sometimes it s the whole game! What matters is that we explore it together.

Practicalities We don t offer relocation support or visa sponsorship for this role.

We work a 37-hour work week, with core hours 10-15, and the freedom to start and finish anywhere between 7 and 18.

We work on-site at our cozy office in central Copenhagen.

No crunch. People over deadlines.

Our working language is English.

We offer Silly but ambitious projects, and the chance to work on and impact great games that reach millions of players.

A playful and ambitious work environment where experimentation is encouraged.

Friendly and kind colleagues who love making each other laugh as much as making games.

A professional development budget to invest in your growth.

Social activities like Friday bars, hobby nights, board game nights, team events, you name it.

Daily lunch at a local restaurant just a walk across the lakes away, with plant-based options (and soft ice on Thursdays).

Six weeks of vacation (five standard plus one extra on us).

Paid parental leave at full salary for the periods covered by state reimbursement.

Child s first sick day on us, no questions asked.

Pension plan and private health insurance.

Endless amounts of coffee.
