Y our future responsibilities and scope: Design, build, and scale public-facing APIs in Go, hosted on GCP, serving millions of users with high availability and low latency.

Ensure backend reliability through comprehensive testing strategies and safe, rollout processes for API releases.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize backend systems using Datadog, ensuring proactive reliability for player-facing services.

Collaborate with game teams, data engineers, and product managers to align technical solutions with business goals.

Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines — including GitHub Actions workflows with Terraform, and supporting Jenkins-based game pipelines alongside the dedicated owner.

Support the development and maintenance of internal tools and services in TypeScript/Node.js, hosted on AWS.

The profile we are looking for: 5+ years of professional experience in backend development, with strong proficiency in Go and solid knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js , and familiarity with React for contributing to internal tool frontends.

Strong experience with MongoDB as a primary database.

Proven experience designing and operating scalable microservices and RESTful APIs, with a strong focus on performance and reliability.

Hands-on experience operating cloud infrastructure at scale, including managed services and networking.

GCP experience is preferred; AWS experience is also valuable.

Familiarity with CI/CD practices — Terraform and ( GitHub Actions or Jenkins).

Comfortable working with observability tools, particularly Datadog .

Excellent communication skills; able to work in English in a cross-functional, international team.

Nice to have: Experience in the gaming industry or with real-time, high-throughput backend systems.

Experience building CLIs or developer tooling.
