Game Designer Intern

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON Main challenge This role is for those eager to learn the fundamentals of game design and the full game development process. They'll build essential skills and knowledge, then apply them to support real design tasks on live projects; all while leveling up their careers.

What it means on a daily basis Study game design fundamentals and analyze game aspects, including design concepts, controls, and fun factors, across genres Learn the game-making process on a live project and support the main GD on minor tasks.

Contribute to design discussions and decisions.

Write and maintain game design documents (GDDs) for small features, simple gameplay, and improvements to existing features and content (missions, quests, levels), guided by the project game designer.

Learn to find and fix design-related bugs using in-house tools.

Playtest builds with the team.

Who you would be working with Studio Game Designer Lead, Senior Game Designers, and Game Designer Project Leads Producers, Artists, and Programmers Cross-functional game development teams WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Understanding of game design principles, game mechanics, level design, and UI/UX Knowledge of mobile, PC, and console gaming markets and player behaviors Understanding of monetization strategies, player retention, and reward systems Ability to balance game systems and gameplay experiences Basic programming knowledge to understand scripts and technical constraints Photoshop skills for mockups, UI concepts, and design proposals Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel for documentation and presentations Good English communication skills (written and verbal) WHO YOU ARE Passionate about video games and industry trends Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities Adaptable and open to feedback Strong storytelling and communication skills Organized, detail-oriented, and quality-focused Able to work independently and collaboratively under pressure Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and commitment Willing to learn, share knowledge, and support team growth Your recruitment journey (1) Screening call (2) Test (3) Interview (4) Offer WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU​ Benefit Internship allowance VND 7,000,000 gross/month  Lunch allowance VND 700,000/month 1 day of paid annual leave per month, Christmas leave, Birthday leave, CSR leave, paid sick leave.
