Key Responsibilities Own the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing operation and maintenance of game backend services and core modules, ensuring features are delivered on schedule.

Design and implement game business logic, service APIs, and internal tools to support systems such as player data, game progression, items, quests, and events.

Design database schemas, caching, and message processing workflows according to business requirements, with a focus on data consistency, API performance, and service reliability.

Collaborate with the client team to define API protocols, data formats, error handling, and version compatibility approaches, ensuring reliable integration of client features.

Analyze production logs, metrics, and incidents to resolve performance bottlenecks and service issues; contribute to capacity assessments, release readiness, and incident reviews.

Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and the development of engineering standards to improve code quality, testing, and automation.

Collaborate with product managers, game designers, QA, operations engineers, and other engineering teams to break down requirements, identify risks, and drive issues to resolution.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of backend development experience.

Proficiency in at least one of Go, Java, C++, Python, or C#, with experience developing and maintaining production services.

Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, databases, computer networks, and operating systems, with familiarity with common server-side design approaches.

Familiarity with at least one relational database and SQL, and an understanding of common components such as caching, message queues, and inter-service communication.

Experience troubleshooting production issues, optimizing performance, and improving service stability, with the ability to use logs, metrics, and debugging tools to identify problems.

Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills, with the ability to independently deliver modules, participate in code reviews, and share knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications Experience developing and maintaining game servers, online games, or internet services that handle high levels of concurrent traffic.

Familiarity with Linux, cloud platforms, containerized deployment, continuous integration, or service monitoring and alerting systems.

Practical experience with distributed services, cache and message queue optimization, automated testing, or AI-assisted development.
