Starting from gameplay and product objectives, you will establish the information architecture, interaction prototypes, visual standards, and collaboration and acceptance criteria across Figma, AI tools, and Unity.
Key Responsibilities Define player journeys, information architecture, interaction logic, and feedback systems.
Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for combat, progression, monetization, live events, and social features.
Establish consistent interaction and visual standards that improve usability and reduce cognitive load.
Define and maintain the game’s UI visual language, Figma component library, and design system.
Ensure UI designs support multiple resolutions, devices, and languages.
Define the objectives, hierarchy, pacing, and quality standards for screen transitions, micro-interactions, reward feedback, tutorials, and monetization presentations.
Collaborate with UI motion designers and VFX artists to translate interaction intent and visual direction into clear motion requirements, references, and acceptance criteria.
Manage the workflow from requirements and prototypes through Prefab creation, Unity integration, and final approval.
Establish clear ownership, deliverables, review processes, and quality benchmarks.
Collaborate with game design, client engineering, technical art, art, publishing, and external production teams.
Review the final experience on target devices and resolutions.
Qualifications At least two years of game UX/UI experience, including end-to-end ownership of a game project or major feature.
Experience in either interaction design or UI visual design, with strong professional judgment in the other.
Experience taking at least one game or major release from development through launch.
Strong understanding of mobile-game development, monetization, and live operations.
Advanced proficiency in Figma and familiarity with tools such as Photoshop.
Working knowledge of Unity UI/UGUI, including its production and performance constraints.
Experience building design systems and cross-functional workflows.
Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear designs, tasks, and acceptance criteria.
Strong communication, collaboration, feedback, and leadership skills.
A portfolio demonstrating design process, decision-making, and final in-game results.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with complex game systems, usability testing, accessibility, localization, or multi-platform design.
Experience with AI-assisted design, Figma-to-Unity workflows, automated asset export, component generation, or UI tool development.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary or outsourced UX, UI, motion, and VFX teams.
