Key Responsibilities Perform daily maintenance, monitoring, incident response, and performance optimization for game servers and live services to ensure stability and availability.

Manage and maintain game databases, including capacity and performance monitoring, backup and recovery, access control, high availability, and troubleshooting.

Maintain game data collection and transmission pipelines, including data collection services, Kafka clusters, and associated producer and consumer components.

Maintain servers, storage, and ingestion components used to persist data. Monitor data latency, message backlogs, write status, and data integrity.

Perform daily maintenance of the Databricks lakehouse platform, including compute resources, job scheduling, access control, monitoring and alerting, and operational troubleshooting.

Ensure reliable operation of data pipelines and jobs and collaborate with the data team to resolve job failures, data delays, missing data, and basic data validation issues.

Develop operations automation, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.

Contribute to capacity planning, performance optimization, cloud resource cost management, and implementation of security standards.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with at least three years of experience in systems, database, or data platform operations.

Proficiency in Linux system administration, server performance analysis, log analysis, and production incident resolution, with experience operating game or internet services.

Familiarity with backup and recovery, performance monitoring, access control, and high availability for at least one relational database, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Understanding of Kafka architecture and operations, with familiarity troubleshooting common issues involving topics, partitions, replicas, consumer groups, and message backlogs.

Experience using or maintaining Databricks, Spark, or cloud-based data platforms, with an understanding of job scheduling and compute resource management.

Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting, the ability to use SQL for basic data checks, and familiarity with Prometheus and major cloud platforms.

Preferred Qualifications Experience operating mobile games, online services, or data pipelines handling high concurrency.

Experience maintaining Kafka clusters, data collection systems, or data lakehouse platforms in production environments.

Experience with cloud security, data protection, compliance implementation, or Databricks cost optimization.
