Key Responsibilities Participate in the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of game server features, completing module development and bug fixes with guidance from the team.

Develop backend services, APIs, and internal tools based on product and gameplay requirements to support game features such as player systems, items, quests, and events.

Assist with implementing data exchange between the client and server, including API integration testing, data validation, and error handling.

Write clear, maintainable code, follow team standards, and participate in code reviews, testing, and technical documentation maintenance.

Assist with troubleshooting server-side operational issues, with a focus on API responses, logs, database access, and basic service stability.

Collaborate with client engineers, game designers, QA, and other engineering teams to understand requirements and clearly communicate development progress and risks.

Proactively learn backend technologies, cloud development workflows, and AI-assisted tools to continuously improve code quality and engineering efficiency.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. This role is intended for fresh graduates.

Strong software development fundamentals, with familiarity with at least one of Go, Java, C++, Python, or C#.

Understanding of foundational concepts in data structures, algorithms, databases, computer networks, and operating systems.

Ability to use SQL for basic data queries and an understanding of relational databases; familiarity with caching or message queues is preferred.

Understanding of common network protocols such as HTTP and TCP/IP, with the ability to use logs and debugging tools to analyze basic service issues.

An interest in software development and the gaming industry, with strong communication and analytical skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications Experience through a backend development internship, coursework project, open-source contribution, or personal server-side project.

Familiarity with Linux, cloud platforms, containers, caching, message queues, or common web service frameworks.

Experience using coding assistants, automated testing tools, or other AI development tools, with the ability to verify the correctness of generated code.
