Audit UI implementation across all titles to de-risk UI issues before they become project risks, scaling coverage through vendor partners.
Document findings by severity and drive fixes with design and engineering teams.
Drive required technical and functional fixes, including accessibility (legibility and contrast, controller focus order and navigation), localization robustness (text expansion, CJK and RTL handling), and platform certification compliance (e.g., Sony TRC, Microsoft XR, Nintendo Lotcheck).
Define and enforce scalable UI best practices and standards.
Maintain living documentation: style guides, specifications, and usage rules.
Partner with the UI engineer and localization team to develop clean, modular, reusable plugins for shared cross-platform UI elements and their localized strings, starting with boot flow, settings, and credits.
Interface directly with development partners (1st and 2nd party studios) to integrate the reusable plugins into their titles.
Build and maintain UI in UMG (Widget Blueprints, Common UI) and review partner implementations for quality and consistency.
