Job Overview

We are looking for a Middle Frontend Developer to join the Global Content team and work on interactive web projects and portal game mechanics for World of Warships.

You will be involved in developing and supporting the multilingual and multi-regional World of Warships portal: event pages, web adventures, interactive mechanics, mini-games, visual-heavy interfaces, and portal modules that support in-game events and the overall ecosystem of the project.

This is a hybrid role at the intersection of interactive frontend development, CMS-driven solutions, and production web development. A large part of the current production codebase is built with vanilla JavaScript, so a strong understanding of native frontend development and browser APIs is important for this role. At the same time, you will participate in expanding Vue 3 usage as a foundation for new solutions and the potential migration of existing projects.

We are looking for a developer who enjoys building non-standard interactive web mechanics, working with animations and complex frontend behavior, while maintaining stability, performance, and production quality.

What will you do?

Develop and maintain event pages, web adventures, game web mechanics, mini-games, widgets, and portal/web modules

Develop frontend solutions using Vue 3, TypeScript, and related tooling

Work with production code written in vanilla JavaScript

Work with REST APIs, JSON configurations, and data-driven interfaces

Implement complex animations and interactive behavior

Work with visual-heavy and interactive web interfaces

Prepare and maintain frontend bundles for CMS integration

Optimize performance of animation-heavy and mobile-heavy pages: asset loading, rendering, lazy loading, browser behavior, and frontend performance

Ensure proper functionality across different devices, browsers, regional versions, and language configurations

Collaborate with designers using Figma, verify implementations, and prepare/export assets when needed

Support and improve reusable components, UI patterns, and shared frontend approaches

Write technical documentation and implementation guidelines

What are we looking for?

3+ years of commercial frontend development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and browser APIs

Strong HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS skills

2+ years of practical experience with Vue 3

Experience with TypeScript and Composition API

Experience with mobile web development

Strong practical understanding of cross-browser compatibility and platform/browser quirks

Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous client-server interactions

Experience implementing complex animations and interactive interfaces

Experience working with CMS or content-driven web projects

Independence in solving technical tasks and finding solutions

Attention to implementation quality, interface details, and user experience

Ability to work across different types of tasks and contexts

Ability to work with existing codebases, refactor code, and maintain production quality

Confident use of Figma

English sufficient for technical communication and documentation

What additional skills will help you stand out?

Good sense of visual design, composition, and understanding of UI/UX principles for interactive web interfaces (previous design experience would be a plus)

Experience with Three.js, WebGL, or other 3D/web graphics solutions

Experience with GSAP, ScrollTrigger, and similar solutions

Experience with Pinia and Vite

Experience working with web analytics or tracking systems

Experience with Node.js in the context of frontend tooling, scripts, and build systems

Experience working with design systems or custom UI kits

Understanding of frontend performance optimization and browser rendering

Understanding of frontend bundles and build/deploy flows for CMS integration

Basic understanding of frontend delivery pipelines: Nginx, CDN, Object Storage, GitLab CI/CD

Basic Photoshop skills

Experience working on multilingual and multi-regional projects

Russian language skills

Links to relevant projects: interactive pages, mini-games, animation-heavy, or 3D/web-heavy cases

Work mode

Onsite during probation period and hybrid after probation period (3 days of work from the office and 2 days of work form home).
