What We Need:

The WWE 2K team is seeking a Lead Engineer to join our DevOps team, crafting the technical roadmap that supports efficient, collaborative development across the studio. In this role you will take ownership of the technical vision and strategy for the DevOps team, collaborating across teams and disciplines to create tools and systems that enable us to make the next installment of WWE 2K the best yet!

What You Will Do:

Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment automation

Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of development and production environments

Improve developer workflows through automation and tooling, while ensuring high quality documentation and support

Establish standards and best practices for deployments, environments, observability, and operations

Collaborate with studio partners to refine cross-team workflows and processes

Act as a technical leader, developing and driving technical strategy and vision for your team. Push the limits of what is possible.

Who Will Be A Great Fit:

5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Experience with Perforce, Jenkins, Git, and/or other version control and automated build systems

Hands-on expertise with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerized environments

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) workflows and configuration management tools such as Puppet

Strong understanding of object oriented programming, modern architectural design patterns, and C/C++/C#

Systems engineering expertise across Windows and Linux environments, including scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and familiarity with the .NET ecosystem

Ability to balance technical depth with cross-team collaboration and clear communication

Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and driving alignment

Might Be Nice:

Experience working on multi-platform software projects

Experience with web technologies like React or Node.js

Familiarity with leveraging AI to enhance developer workflows

Shipped game titles, preferably on console

Experience with distributed, multi-team, or multi-studio environments

Love for video games (not just ours!)

The pay range for this position in California Remote at the start of employment is expected to be between $138,600 and $194,063 per year.

The pay range for this position in New York Remote at the start of employment is expected to be between $124,800 and $174,708 per year.

The pay range for this position in New Jersey Remoteat the start of employment is expected to be between $124,800 and $174,708 per year.

The pay range for this position in Maryland Remote at the start of employment is expected to be between $124,800 and $174,708 per year.

The pay range for this position in Colorado Remote at the start of employment is expected to be between $124,800 and $174,708 per year.

However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for employees in regular roles may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, provided that temporary or intern roles will not be eligible for many of these payments or benefits. Details of participation in compensation and benefit plans (if applicable) will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position in Washington Remote at the start of employment is expected to be between $138,600 and $194,063 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.

Regular, full-time employees are also eligible for a range of benefits at the Company, including: medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage; 14 paid holidays per calendar year; paid vacation time per calendar year (ranging from 15 to 25 days) or eligibility to participate in the Company’s discretionary time off program; up to 10 paid sick days per calendar year; paid parental and compassionate leave; wellbeing programs for mental health and other wellness support; family planning support through Maven; commuter benefits; and reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.

The pay range for this position in British Columbia at the start of employment is expected to be between $118,300 CAD and $165,000 CAD per year. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for employees in regular roles may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, provided that temporary or intern roles will not be eligible for many of these payments or benefits.
