About Ludios

Ludios takes its name from Latin; it means "The Game People". Led by Eyal, one of the co-founders of Tripledot Studios, and some of the most experienced people in mobile games, we are a studio that makes and publishes our own casual, free-to-play mobile games. Our team is based across APAC, with the majority of our development happening in Jakarta and Melbourne. We are data-driven, creative, and genuinely passionate about the industry we work in. Right now, we are working on a number of exciting projects, including one built around a globally recognised IP, alongside several original titles we are equally excited about. Role Overview

As a UI Artist, you will work closely with the Art Director and other UI team members to design and develop the user interface for our games. You will contribute to creating engaging visuals that align with UX flows, ensuring the best possible experience for our players.

This role is perfect for someone with solid UI design skills, an eye for detail, and an understanding of the casual mobile gaming market. You will support the art production process for key features and collaborate with a passionate team dedicated to crafting fun and visually appealing gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop an appropriate visual style for the game with the Art Director

Create the UI with UX best practices in mind

Create storyboards and mockups from sketch until the final look with high quality within the time frame

Create key artwork and optimisable assets

Participated in design discussions with the local and global stakeholders to ensure alignment with the product vision

Implement designs into Unity, assisted by the in-house technical art team

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

2 - 3 years of experience

A portfolio showcasing mobile game-related artwork and projects

Excellence in UI problem-solving to allow the best user experience

Strong graphic design skills

Understanding of the mobile games market, its design styles, and trends

Good knowledge of UI software (Figma, Adobe, InVision, etc.)

Good understanding of implementing UI in Unity

Good English verbal communication and presentation skills

Nice to have

Good understanding of motion graphics and VFX design in UI

Basic understanding of 3D modeling and animation for UI
