About Lion Studios

We re looking for a Director of Studio Management to lead our global studio management team. The team currently has 10 managers who collectively partner with around 40 external studios. This is a remote role, with a preference for candidates based in Europe, reporting to the Senior Director of Publishing and Business Development. You ll be the bridge between our studio managers, cross-functional leads, and the finance and legal teams that keep our publishing department running.

About the Role

The Impact You ll Make:

Lead and support a team of studio managers, helping them sign premium studios, build strong developer relationships, and hit their goals.

Recruit, grow, and shape the team as the business scales, including org design and calibrating roles across regions.

Support the BD side of the team s work. Studio managers act as business development leads, and you ll help them win and keep top studios by understanding what partners need.

Develop and implement BD strategies at both the regional and global level, tailoring the approach to each market while keeping the overall portfolio aligned.

Oversee the company s game pipeline, with a focus on moving titles from prototyping to soft launch on time and clearing blockers early. You ll be accountable for pipeline velocity and studio-signing targets.

Create, update, and manage contracts alongside the TDS Legal team. Stay proactive about keeping terms in line with industry standards and partners’ requirement.

Work closely with Game Design, Data, Intelligence, Product, and Growth leads to understand how the teams operate and make changes that help them work better together.

Keep a solid understanding of the company portfolio s P L. You should be able to explain how costs are structured and attributed, and work with the TDS Finance team on accuracy and improvements.

Review the publishing process and KPIs regularly, and update benchmarks and workflows as the company needs change.

Turn shifting company priorities into practical changes to internal workflows and processes.

Represent the studio management function to leadership, reporting on team performance and helping shape publishing strategy at the exec level.

Required Qualifications:

7+ years in studio management, business development, or product/project management in mobile gaming, including 3+ years managing teams.

Track record building and managing external studios or developer relationships, ideally signing and keeping premium partners.

Hands-on experience with publishing contracts.

Experience overseeing game pipelines from concept to launch across multiple titles.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical people.

Comfort working with P L, KPIs, and pipeline data, and the tools behind them.

Experience managing across regions, markets, and time zones.

Organized and analytical, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Good grasp of current trends and metrics in mobile gaming.

Experience working with finance and legal teams in a publishing setting.

Familiarity with portfolio or game-level P L, including how costs are structured and attributed.
