Accounting Manager

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our expanding Accounting team based in our Barcelona hub. This role will support the day-to-day operations of the Accounting function while contributing to continuous improvement across all departmental processes.

What You’ll Do

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies

Record general ledger entries in compliance with local and group accounting policies

Assist with the month-end close and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting

Reconcile intercompany transactions

Maintain the fixed assets register, including asset postings and monthly depreciation

Collaborate with the Accounts Payable, Procurement and T E teams on reconciliations and discrepancy resolution

Assist in the preparation and review of VAT returns

Provide support during external and internal audits

Partner with cross-functional teams to support business units with financial and accounting insights

Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives and help with ad-hoc projects

What We’re Looking For

3 years of experience in general accounting

Prior experience in international environments, preferably across multiple entities

Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools

Experience working with ERP systems; Oracle ERP experience

Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities

A team-oriented mindset with a focus on shared goals

Nice to Have

Background in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Knowledge of Spanish and/or European tax regulations

Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Power Query, Power BI)

Experience working in a shared service center or centralized accounting function
