Job Title: Graphic Designer

Job Summary: Highly skilled Graphic Designer with deep expertise in long-format document design, typography, and visual systems. This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys transforming complex information into clear, engaging, and visually compelling experiences across print and digital formats.The ideal candidate brings advanced Adobe InDesign expertise, a strong understanding of editorial and book design principles, and the ability to develop cohesive design systems that maintain consistency across large-scale projects. They are equally comfortable designing a 200-page publication, refining a visual identity system, or crafting a logo that captures the essence of a brand.

What you’ll do

Collaborates with team, brand and editorial staff, manager, and/or other project participants to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message.

Researches and creates graphics and illustrations that are diversified and brand appropriate

Creates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way.

Selects fonts for written copy; produces sample layout for approval by client or other project participants.

Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples to editorial or other appropriate staff or departments for review.

Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process.

Participates in meetings, discussions, and presentations as part of the development process

Contributes to multiple projects simultaneously while keeping on schedule

Stays up to date with ongoing developments in design applications and new print/media trends and techniques to bring consistent innovation to designs

What you’ll bring

Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.

Bachelor s degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.

Proficient in producing design work aligned with brand requirements.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.

Ability to work independently on an assignment.

Organized with attention to detail.

Expert proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite on Mac OS, specifically: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of print technology, pre-press process, and applications

Online portfolio that showcases skill range in both graphic layout and logo design

Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $95,600 - $127,250 per year. The full range is $95,600 - $172,260 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
