Job Title: Asset Protection Specialist

Job Summary: This role supports day-to-day operations related to asset tracking, inventory control and basic loss prevention.

What you’ll do

Standardize inventory tracking processes to maintain high accuracy and data integrity with site asset records

Support end-to-end asset or product lifecycle activities (receiving, staging, deployment, disposition) with consistent adherence to chain of custody requirements

Identify and develop mitigation plans for identified risks. Escalate discrepancies to internal partners, contributing to timely resolution of issues and reduced risk exposure.

Ensure compliance with established security and access control protocols for restricted inventory areas

Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements to leadership.

Maintain audit-ready documentation and support cycle counts, contributing to successful audit outcomes and operational compliance

Applied attention to detail to accurately document asset movement, improving visibility and traceability of site inventory

Partner with cross-functional teams to support efficient and secure asset handling workflows

Proactively flag process gaps or inconsistencies and contribute to process improvements at the team level

Maintain secure storage environments, ensuring alignment with site safety and security standards

Demonstrate reliability and ownership by consistently executing core responsibilities with minimal supervision and high accuracy

What you’ll bring

Two (2) to four plus (4+) years of related experience

Foundational experience in environments requiring process adherence, accuracy, and accountability (e.g., retail, warehouse, logistics, security support, or operations)

Basic understanding of asset protection and inventory control principles, including the importance of tracking and securing company property

Experience following structured procedures such as sign-in/sign-out logs, inventory tracking, or access control protocols

Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document and verify asset movement and inventory records

Demonstrated ability to identify and escalate discrepancies, risks, or unusual activity in a timely manner

Comfort working in controlled or secure environments with restricted access and compliance requirements

Proven reliability and consistency in executing routine tasks with minimal supervision

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Facilities, IT)

Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year. The full range is $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
