Apply on MobilityWare’s site →We’re looking for a strategic, curious, and highly analytical Data Analyst II to join our Growth team and support MobilityWare’s portfolio of mobile games. In this role, your primary focus will be partnering closely with teams across User Acquisition (UA), Creative, Product, and Finance to help drive smart, data-informed growth decisions.
This role is specifically focused on User Acquisition and Growth Analytics within mobile gaming . We’re primarily seeking candidates with mobile gaming experience and a strong interest in UA and growth marketing.
This is much more than a reporting role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys digging into complex data, identifying meaningful trends and opportunities, and translating insights into clear recommendations that influence strategy. The ideal candidate is both analytical and collaborative, someone who can think critically about performance, communicate insights clearly, and build strong partnerships across teams.
You’ll play an important role in shaping acquisition strategy across channels such as Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Meta, and other ad networks. From campaign performance and creative testing to monetization trends and growth forecasting, your insights will help guide decisions across multiple game titles.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with the User Acquisition team across 2–4 mobile game titles to drive growth through thoughtful, data-informed decision-making
Analyze UA performance data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and key drivers impacting growth and efficiency
Deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations around campaign optimization, audience targeting, bidding strategies, creative performance, and budget allocation
Evaluate key performance metrics including ROAS, CPI, retention, LTV, payback periods, and install growth
Design and analyze A/B tests across creative concepts, acquisition channels, targeting strategies, and app store optimization efforts
Collaborate with Creative teams to understand ad performance, funnel conversion, and opportunities for iteration and experimentation
Work cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and Data teams to connect acquisition performance with broader business goals
Build and improve dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytical tools that help teams make faster, more informed decisions
Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities
Present findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bring structure, curiosity, and strong analytical thinking to open-ended and ambiguous business questions
Qualifications
3–5 years of data analytics experience, with direct experience in the mobile gaming industry
Strong understanding of and interest in mobile user acquisition and performance marketing
Experience supporting products with hybrid IAP + IAA monetization models is strongly preferred
Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
Strong SQL experience preferred
Experience with analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker
Experience using Python for data analysis is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain not only the answer but also the thinking and analysis behind it
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor insights to different audiences
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Passion for mobile games, experimentation, player behavior, and continuous learning
Collaborative mindset with a proactive and positive approach to problem-solving

The range listed is just one component of MobilityWare’ s total compensation package for employees, which may include short- and long-term incentives and program-specific awards. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, or market demands. This range is based on a full-time position. This range may be modified in the future. The annual base salary pay range for this role is $105,000-$130,000.
