Role Overview EA is looking for a Senior Communications Manager to help shape the future of our global brand narrative and improve EA SPORTS as the leading voice at the intersection of sport, culture, entertainment and new ideas.

This is a strategic communications role for a creative storyteller with communications instincts and experience with sports fandom. Working across Communications leadership, franchise teams, and Brand Marketing, you will identify latest stories, develop creative expertise platforms, and create communications programmes that strengthen the EA SPORTS brand.

You combine with creative curiosity. They understand how influence is built across media, creators, athletes and communities, and are constantly looking around corners for the next great story.

You will report to Sr. Director, EA SPORTS Communications Main Responsibilities Brand Storytelling & Communications Strategy • Help us to shape and evolve the EA SPORTS brand narrative, ensuring communications promote our ambition to become the world's leading sports entertainment brand.

• Help us to develop creative storytelling opportunities that position EA SPORTS at the center of conversations shaping the future of sports, technology, fandom and entertainment.

• Identify cultural moments, latest trends and industry shifts that create opportunities for EA SPORTS to lead—not simply participate—in the conversation.

• Partnering with us (communications and Marketing leaders )to develop executive expertise platforms that improve EA leaders across innovation, sport culture and the future of fandom.

• Partner with franchise Communications teams to ensure individual franchise stories contribute to a strategic company and EA SPORTS brand narrative.

Expertise & Brand Elevation • Help us to Promote communications programs that strengthen EA SPORTS' reputation with fans, partners, media, creators and industry influencers.

• Develop integrated storytelling strategies that extend beyond product launches to build year-round cultural relevance.

• Identify and cultivate relationships with influential storytellers, media, creators and partners who can authentically amplify the EA SPORTS narrative.

• Champion bold, modern communications approaches that push beyond traditional PR and redefine how brands participate in sports culture.

Innovation & Future of Communications • Explore new technologies, AI capabilities and evolving communications trends that unlock new opportunities for storytelling and audience engagement.

• Bring new ideas, experimentation and best practices into the Communications organization to evolve how EA SPORTS tells its story.

• Serve as a strategic advisor across Communications leadership, helping identify opportunities to modernize and enhance the function.

• Partner across Marketing, Brand, Partnerships and Corporate Communications to deliver integrated communications that inspire measurable brand impact.

Qualifications • 10+ years of experience leading strategic communications, brand storytelling, earned media, or integrated communications for globally recognised brands, sports properties, entertainment companies, or leading agencies.

• About innovation, AI, latest technologies, and the future of communications, with experience applying new approaches to storytelling and audience engagement.

• Storytelling and with the ability to identify compelling narratives, shape cultural conversations, and translate complex ideas into clear, engaging communications.

• Understanding of sports culture, fandom, media, creator ecosystems, and the evolving influence landscape.

• Your experience developing executive expertise, high-profile communications programmes, and integrated campaigns that improve brand reputation and influence.

• Data-informed mindset with experience using insights, and performance metrics to increase storytelling, inform decision-making, and demonstrate the growth of communications programmes.

• A builder's mindset with experience shaping brands, challenging convention, and creating communications that influence culture and build meaningful our results.

• Help us with outstanding written, verbal, with the ability to inspire and collaborate across a global organisation.

• Your experience with sports, gaming, culture, and new ideas, with an about where fandom, technology, and entertainment intersect.
