We create secure, scalable solutions that help teams collaborate and innovate in order to create better experiences for players worldwide.

The Challenge Ahead Reporting to a Senior Engineering Manager within the Game Developer Experience (GDX) team, you'll design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade development pipelines for EA's video games and central services teams. You'll integrate custom-built, off-the-shelf, and packaged applications, working with technologies such as SonarQube, Perforce, and GitLab to support reliable and efficient software development.

Responsibilities Develop automated tests to validate changes to EA's game build infrastructure before they impact development teams.

Implement new features and self-service capabilities that enable users to access services quickly and securely.

Automate and scale service deployments and workflow automation.

Create monitoring, alerting, and dashboards to improve visibility into service performance and business metrics.

Ensure service availability and disaster recovery with minimal impact on users.

Apply DevOps tools and best practices to manage applications and infrastructure services in Kubernetes.

Participate in a production support rotation, typically once every 3–5 weeks.

Who You Are You are a DevOps Engineer with 5 years of experience building production-level enterprise solutions that support software development teams. You enjoy automating repetitive tasks to reduce operational effort.

You bring: Experience developing Terraform modules and deploying environments using Infrastructure as Code.

Proficiency with Packer, Ansible, and Kubernetes.

Ability to write testable code in Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.

Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.

Experience building SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud solutions using AWS or Azure.

Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, the ELK stack, and Prometheus.

Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to debug complex, multi-system issues.

An interest in standardization, simplification, and current DevOps practices.

Experience working remotely, with an emphasis on documentation and communicating technical decisions.

Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, Kubernetes, or DevOps practices are a plus.
