Data Analyst (Ads & Sponsorships) Locations: Kirkland, Los Angeles (Hybrid) Reports to: Director, Advertising & Sponsorships Insights & Innovations As the Advertising Intelligence Analyst, you will manage monthly reporting deliverables for in-game advertising inventory as well as develop scalable data models and construct essential dashboards for the Ads & Sponsorships (A&S) team. You will partner with AdOps, AdTech, Product Management, and game analytics groups across game studios to ensure reporting data remains precise, documented, and streamlined through automation.

Operating on assignments of moderate complexity, you will independently handle the standard reporting rhythm while collaborating on new projects. You will report directly to the Director of Advertising Intelligence, and collaborate daily with the Data Solutions Analyst. Your contributions will provide foundational insights relied upon by the entire A&S Team.

Responsibilities Align with the AdOps team each month on which campaigns are included in reporting, then create and consistently publish reports for all custom A&S inventory across EA titles.

Act as the A&S business lead with AdTech on report automation — define requirements, validate output, and cut manual steps out of the monthly cycle.

Collaborate with the Product Management team to ensure new inventory is included in standardized reporting.

Maintain documentation of reporting queries and KPI calculations so results are reproducible and auditable.

Bridge the reporting gap for A&S inventory in mobile titles and work towards automation.

Build and maintain the A&S team dashboards, to support the Sales, AdOps, Product Management, and Revenue Strategy functions.

Manage access and permissions for A&S dashboards.

Apply working knowledge of data engineering concepts to design and maintain internal A&S data models and databases as well as provide inputs and guidance to AdTech partners on data pipeline migration.

Build partnerships with studio analytics teams to understand each team's data taxonomy.

Fulfill ad hoc telemetry and data requests across the A&S team.

Qualifications 1+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, or business intelligence; internship experience counts.

Bachelor, MBA or Master's degree in Statistics or related field with knowledge in the application of statistics using analytics software.

Database knowledge including table structures, views, queries, and SQL statements including window/analytic functions.

Competent with at least one analytics software package (Python, R, SAS, or SPSS) and comfortable working in Excel (can write advanced macros).

Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards in a BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker), and generating graphs and visuals that make an insight easy to understand.

Summarize data using the right statistical terms and explain those concepts to non-statistical audiences in plain language.

Familiar with core data engineering concepts — pipelines, schemas, ETL, and telemetry — enough to be a useful partner to engineering teams.

Clear documentation habits, and prioritization recommendations, give effort estimates, and flag scheduling conflicts early.

An interest in games: you play EA titles across platforms and follow industry and tech news.

Exposure to digital advertising metrics (impressions, reach and frequency, viewability) or game telemetry data.

Familiar with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$77,700 - $107,900 CAD

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$98,200 - $155,200 USD

* Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane) *$93,800 - $122,000 USD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and other incentive programs.

For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and other incentive programs.
